Little Dodges is a newly converted detached traditional stable providing a high standard holiday home of spacious two bed ground floor accommodation with many original features.

Set in the grounds of the owner's Oast House, there are two acres of land and outstanding far-reaching views over the Weald of Kent, an area known as "The Garden of England".

We are 1 hour from London by train - the station is within 2 miles. The Channel Tunnel is only 45 minutes drive, and the nearest town, Cranbrook, is 4 miles away. The picturesque village of Goudhurst is famous for its charm and has a very good range of shops and pubs.

Many of the village buildings are of great historical interest and the Church dates from the 12^th century. The major towns of Tunbridge Wells, Maidstone, Tonbridge and Tenterden are also nearby. Canterbury can be reached in approximately one and a half hours.

Little Dodges Self Catering Holiday Cottage Accommodation is just 20 25 minutes drive from Royal Tunbridge Wells. Tunbridge Wells offers a wealth of culture and attractions. It is of course a famous Spa Town. In Georgian times Tunbridge Wells became a well-known and popular spa resort. The pretty colonnaded walkway known as the Pantiles has become probably the most well known view of Royal Tunbridge Wells. The Pantiles remains a pleasant place to browse, shop, eat and drink and stroll.

Sitting/Dining area

The sitting/dining room is large and has a vaulted ceiling with original timbers; a TV/Video/DVD are supplied as are radio/cassette/CD player.

There is a bookcase containing various hardbacks and novels as well as children's' videos and DVDs.

The payphone accepts debit/credit cards.

Bathroom

Bath with mixer shower over, separate shower cubicle, pedestal basin with mirrored two-door cabinet above. Hair dryer included.

Kitchen

Fully equipped with a dishwasher, larder fridge with ice compartment, microwave and electric cooker incorporating a grill.

The cottage also has its own washing machine and tumble drier in a separate laundry area.

Bedrooms

Double room - has pine double bed with 2 drawer bedside tables and lamps. Also separate wardrobe with hanging space, chair and three drawer chest with mirrored unit.

Bedrooms

Twin bed room - two 3 foot beds with pine headboards. Chest of 4 drawers between with lamp and large wardrobe with shelf above with ample hanging space. Also contains upright hoover, ironing board, broom and iron.

Outside there is off road parking for a number of vehicles. At the rear of the property is a secure courtyard area with a picnic bench, honeysuckle and jasmine. A barbeque is supplied at no extra charge.

Facilities

A cot/highchair are available on request at no extra charge, bed linen for this is not supplied.
Full bed linen is supplied free of charge however towels are £3 per person extra at time of booking.
The cottage will sleep 4 in comfort but there is a surcharge of £25 for the fifth bed.

Sorry, we do not take pets.

Smoking

This is not allowed.

Heating

Cosy under floor oil fired heating at a further cost during winter season of £30 per week.

Winter

5 January 2008 - 23 May 2008 & 27 September - 5 January 2009.

Electricity

A charge is now made for this. On arrival/departure the meter will be read and an appropriate charge made for each unit used.

Security Deposit

This is required on arrival, the sum of £50 which will be banked to secure against breakages, damage etc. Following departure the property will be thoroughly checked. Any deductions for breakages etc and electricity charges will then be made and the balance returned.

Payments

An administration fee of £10 is charged. A deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking and the balance on or before 8 weeks prior to commencement of the holiday.
